ForeverGREEN – A Day in an Organic Garden

Saturday October 30…blue skies, warm weather…just perfect for a day in the Margaret River Organic Gardens!

Hundreds of locals and many visitors from other areas enjoyed wandering down the winding paths and exploring the various garden rooms that lie nestled between the high school and university on Bussell Highway in Margaret River. Some had not known previously that such a gem existed and I’ve no doubt will now help spread the word further. This was of equal importance to the valuable funds raised to help with the gardens ongoing maintenance and the various undertakings the hardworking & enthusiastic gardening volunteers do on a week to week basis.

The great success of the day was in no small part due to the volunteers who tireless worked (always with a smile!) in the lead up to and during the day itself. The fact that the volunteers enjoyed the day as much as the attendees is testimony to the nature of the event itself and it is now proposed to be held annually.

Pictures can speak a thousand words and while we have an ongoing page dedicated to providing information and updates about ForeverGREEN – An Organic Affair which you can access here we hope you will enjoy the following photographs taken and kindly provided by Rene & Janny Lane.

We hope to see everyone at next year’s event – we are aiming for October 29.
